What is Fluid Protocol?

The Fluid Protocol is a mechanism to change the consensus rules of Duality’s blockchain, Dynamic. This permits self-regulation, changing the reward amounts for Dynode holders and miners, and respond to arbitration or attack.

From a technical level, there are five Sovereign keys, and to carry out a change using the Fluid Protocol, three out of those five sovereign keys are needed.

Fluid Protocol changes are achieved without the need for users to upgrade their software or cause interruption to the network.
